Hi, everyone! This is Miura, 8Gear web director. I'm in charge of planning and managing the production progression, website improvement for 8Gear. Now we're planning and preparing for the campaign. Today, I'd like to share you the news on what happened at movie shootings for the truck giveaway summer campaign. Member of the movie shooting Oscar- Sales personnel -Overseas market- Frank, nice smile, humorous Ando- Sales personnel -Domestic market- Gentle, friendly, considerate Ume- Website Designer Good sense, clear with opinions, dependable Miura, Web Director Earnest, caring, heedless Shooting schedule Wed., June 22,2016 At the KANAGAWA Exhibition site There are 13 personnel in this site who takes part as engineer, sales personnel and service clerk. They are in charge of maintenance of our stock such as truck, bus and heavy equipment. Also they respond to domestic customers who visit the site to purchase and sell their vehicles. The stock of this site is exported from YOKOHAMA or KAWASAKI port. AM 08:10 Weather forecast: Cloudy, some rain As the staff drove from Tokyo Head Office, it started raining and got worse as they drove on to the exhibition site. Oh my, someone please stop the rain! AM 09:30 Arrived at the site, still rainy. Movie shooting got started as the rain got weaken, with everyone holding an umbrella. Took a shoot of a truck's inside of the engine room, with the cabin lifted. Oscar did a great explanation! AM 10:00 Some how the rain stopped and I feel so blessed! The truck is moved to appropriate position and truckbed operational scene is shooted. AM 11:00 No wind, brighter sky. Now we can shoot a movie. The truck drives around and the scene is shooted. AM 12:30 Important scenes are done! We got relaxed and had a nice lunch time together with kangagawa exhibition personnel. PM 13:30 Time to pack up. I was lucky to be able to have one of the engineers explain me about the suspension mechanism while he loaded the truck to self loader truck. This truck is to be exported. Also, I took some photos of the site. Then finally, it's became a perfect weather for shooting. PM 14:30 All done! Now we're going back to head office to summarize, check, and edit today's movies. After shooting To an office worker, it was a special experience to lift the cabin of the truck, wipe the body, open and close the truckbed, and so on. Don't miss out the scene when the truck goes dashing because I had taken it with the camera! For me, this was the very first time to direct and shoot a movie.
